Abstract： The hydraulic tube has an important impact on subsea production umbilical cost and performance. Choosing appropriate material and size of umbilical hydraulic tube can ensure reliable and economical operation of oil and gas fields. This paper analyzes the main materials of the current umbilical hydraulic tube, compares and analyzes the performance and adaptability of each material, and puts forward the factors that need to be considered when selecting the hydraulic tube material type. Through the method of hydraulic simulation, the simulation model of the diameter of the hydraulic tube in the umbilical is established, and the analysis method of the hydraulic tube size selection is given. This paper provides some reference for the selection of hydraulic tube in subsea production system umbilical.
