Abstract: In recent years, researchers have put more and more attention on VR and underwater robots play important role in oil exploration. This paper concludes three most common applications of VR in underwater robot, which are virtual training, VR-based telerobotics system and virtual prototype, this paper concludes the working principle and their advantages. At the same time, this paper discusses the development of these three applications and their future tendency.
