Abstract: This paper mainly discusses the application of energy consumption management system (ECOMS) in LF12-3 offshore oil field. Firstly， the application background of the system is introduced. Then the design principles， system characteristics， architecture and functions of the system are elaborated. Finally， the important role of the energy consumption management system in the dynamic monitoring of production energy consumption and the improvement of energy efficiency of the offshore oil platform is summarized.
