Issues of University Enterprise Cooperative Instructions in Education of Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI)

Abstract: Needs oriented University Enterprise Cooperative instruction mode has been widely recognized in China's current education of MTI. However, there still exists many common problems in mutual cooperation such as lacking both/multi win cooperative mechanism, selecting qualified instructors with great difficulties, insufficient depth and width of cooperative teaching contents, unguaranteed course quality, instable teaching team, disconnected continuing education. In order to upgrade MTI students' professional abilities and qualities in process focused training, university and enterprise need to intensify effective cooperation, improve mutually beneficial cooperation mechanism, work out reasonable selection standards of qualified professional and practice based instructors, define teaching contents and goals, formulate course evaluation criteria, improve the mechanism of long term cooperation, form relatively stable teaching team, provide continuing education opportunities.
