The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Ecological Niche of Foreign Language Teaching from the Perspective of Foreign Language Pedagogy

摘要:

随着人工智能(AI)技术的快速发展,其在外语教育中的应用也越来越广泛,并影响了外语教学的生态位。本文旨在通过分析当前人工智能技术在语言学习中的应用方式和效果的现状,研究人工智能在提升语言学习效率、个性化教学和跨文化交流能力培养等方面的潜力,从而探讨人工智能(AI)技术在外语教育中的应用及其对外语教学生态位的影响。通过对随机抽取某高校165名非英语专业大学生的调查数据分析,发现人工智能技术在外语教育中不仅能够有效改善教学质量,还重构了外语教学生态位,提高了教学效率和学习效果,进而助力外语学习者生态位的智能化发展。

Abstract:

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, its application in foreign language education has become increasingly prevalent, thereby influencing the ecological niche of foreign language teaching. The study aims to explore the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving language learning efficiency, personalized teaching and cross-cultural communication ability by analyzing the current application and outcomes of AI in language learning, so as to explore the application of AI technology in foreign language education and its impact on the ecological niche of foreign language teaching. Based on the survey data of 165 randomly selected non-English majors at a university, it shows that artificial intelligence technology can not only effectively improve the quality of teaching in foreign language education, but also reconstruct the ecological niche of foreign language teaching, improve teaching efficiency and learning effect, thereby fostering the intelligent development of the ecological niche for foreign language learners.
