Results: Overall 72.0% of students realized the importance of learning hematology; 47.0% of students were interested in hematology, while 41.2% of students complained difficulty to understand hematology; 71.4% of students showed satisfactions in hematology teaching. More 5-year program students were interested in learning hematology than 8-year program students. Conclusions: The majority of students expressed satisfaction with current hematology teaching. However, it is important to improve the way of teaching and combing theories with clinical practice for achieving better teaching effectiveness, stimulating students' interest in learning hematology, and promoting independent self-learning.
