Clinical Application of Vacuum Sealing Drainage on the Large Wounds Repair in Children

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) on the wound healing of serious trauma in children.Methods From December 2007 to October 2008,9 children with large wounds were treated by vacuum sealing drainage and the wound was repaired by skin graft.Results All patients recovered uneventfully after surgery.The healing of first intension was achieved in 9 cases.Conclusion Vacuum sealing drainage can effectively stimulate the growth of granulation tissue,and reduce the pain of patients.I...
