Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of interscalene nerve block adding opioid analgesics on postoperative analgesia for upper extremity surgery. Methods Interscalene nerve block with tramadol or fentanyl added respectively was given to the patients for the anesthesia of upper extremity surgery. The analgesic effect was observed and evaluated after surgery. Results Analgesic effect in experimental groups adding opioid analgesics was better than in control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion Adding opioid analgesic drugs to interscalene nerve block can reach a better postoperative analgesia effect.
