A Tension-reduced Suture Technique in Scar Plastic Surgery

Abstract

Abstract: Skin tension plays a very important role among a series of factors in scar formation.The tension-reduced suture in scar plastic surgery is directly related to the prognosis of scar excision.Currently,a new type of tension-reduced suture named"fish bone tension-reduction suture technique"is adopted,which can provide effective,convenient and powerful tension-reduction effect during and after the operation,thus greatly reducing the risk of hypertrophic scar formation and achieving a fine line-like scar.
