Research Progress of the Treatment for the Lower Palpebral Bags with Tear Trough Deformity

Abstract

Abstract: The lower palpebral bags with tear trough deformity has different degrees of influence on the facial appearance and mental health of the patient. The lower eyelid blepharoplasty has been developed in the last century, and the concept and method of blepharoplasty for the lower palpebral bags with tear trough deformity have been continuously developed. In addition to surgical treatment, other treatments such as laser treatment, autologous fat transplantation, hyaluronic acid and other substances injections have their own advantages and characteristics, and have achieved good result. In this paper, the progress of the treatment for the lower palpebral bags with tear trough deformity was reviewed.
