Abstract: Muller-Weiss disease mostly strike the feet of middle and aged women. The cause of the disease is always controversial, it is now generally believed that navicular bone dysplasia and the abnormal stress distribution on the surface of navicular bone are the main reasons. The major clinical manifestations of the disease are the dorsal foot pain of load-bearing and progressive “flatfoot-varus” deformity. Surgical treatment is an effective way to treat Muller-Weiss disease. In this paper, clinical research progress of Muller-Weiss disease was reviewed.
