Abstract: Scar is tissue fibrotic disease caused by trauma.In addition to surgical treatment of scar,local non-surgical treatments such as laser,drug injection and cryotherapy are also important components in the treatment of scar.Pain is the most common adverse reaction in these treatments,not only affecting the therapeutic effect,but also giving the patient a certain burden on the body and mind during the treatment.In recent years,the development and application of surface anesthetics have provided an effective means to solve this problem.In this paper,the types of topical anesthetics,pharmacology,application methods,advantages and adverse reactions,as well as potential applications in non-surgical treatment of scar were reviewed and prospected.
