Abstract: 　The treatment of lymphedema of lower extremity is the difficulty and emphasis in clinical research. Severe lymphedema of the lower extremities has a significant impact on the patients' quality of life. In recent years, as a new surgical method, vascularized lymph node flap transplantation has a good effect on the treatment of severe lymphedema of lower extremities. In this paper, the mechanism, surgical methods, auxiliary means and common complications of vascularized lymph node flap transplantation were reviewed and prospected.
