Abstract: Objective　To explore the application of V-Y advancement flap in the repair of soft tissue defects in distal fingers. Methods　From April 2017 to June 2021, 8 patients with skin and soft tissue defects of the distal finger were repaired with V-Y advancement flaps. The skin and soft tissue defects of the distal finger, the size and design method of the flap, and the recovery of the function and shape of the distal fingers were reviewed and analyzed in each case. Results　The skin and soft tissue defects in the distal finger of the enrolled patients were all repaired, the flaps survived well, the function and appearance of the end of the fingers were basically satisfactory after the operation, and the scar was not obvious. Conclusion　The application of V-Y advancement flap is a good way to repair the skin and soft tissue defects in the distal finger. The design of the flap needs to be adjusted according to the size and position of the defects.
