Abstract: Objective To investigate the classification of congenital multiple arthrocontracture of hand and the clinical effects of brace interventional treatment. Methods From January 2015 to January 2021, a total of 80 patients with congenital multiple arthrocontracture were enrolled. The patients were divided into 6 categories according to different pathological and anatomical characteristics, and were treated with corresponding braces according to different classification. The range of motion of the active and passive flexion and extension joints of the affected finger was assessed, and the mean follow-up was conducted once every 2 months. Results The patients were followed up for 12 to 24 months. The overall excellent and good rate was 86.3%. Conclusion According to the methods classified in this paper, brace interventional therapy for patients with different types of congenital multiple hand arthrocontracture can achieve better therapeutic effects and reduce the occurrence of complications.
