Research Progress of Epidermal Stem Cells

Abstract

Abstract: Epidermal stem cells (ESCs) located in cuticles layer, have the ability of constantly proliferation and differentiation. In recent years, many researches were carried out and made some achievements on ESCs, bringing a new method for clinical application. The research progress on the location, the markers, the characteristics, the regular mechanism and application of ESCs were reviewed in this paper.
