Abstract: Hypertrophic scars are common after skin burns and involve the dermis, which can cause pain, itching, erythema and dryness. Scar contractures close to the joints can cause mobility disorders, which seriously affect the patient's appearance, limb function and psychology. Pressure therapy is a first-line treatment for the prevention and suppression of hypertrophic scar, which is characterized by safety, simplicity, low cost, positive efficacy and low recurrence rate. In this paper, the research and application progress of new methods, new techniques and new materials in pressure therapy were reviewed.
