Abstract: Currently, damage to the lymphatic system from various causes remains an urgent and difficult clinical problem. The development of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering techniques offered a promising approach for lymphatic system repair. In recent years, the understanding of the physiology of the lymphatic system has gradually deepened, and lymphatic system regenerative medicine exhibits many new important advances, including the application of cytokines, the development of scaffold systems, cell therapy, the construction of tissue engineering lymphatic system. In this paper, the current status and recent progress in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering of lymphatic system were reviewed.
