Abstract:

Congenital melanocytic nevus is a common skin developmental abnormality that can occur in any part of the
body where melanocytes are present. Its occurrence is closely related to somatic cell mutations, regulated by multiple
signaling pathways, and has diverse clinical manifestations. Surgical excision and dilator are still the main treatments for
CMN, and laser therapy is a powerful mean to eliminate pigmentation and remove satellite lesions. Targeted therapy and
immunotherapy are becoming a new direction for the treatment of congenital melanin giant nevi.
