Abstract: This paper designs a tool for pulling cable on offshore oil platform. Aiming to solve the difficult of changing directions of cable rollers when pulling cable and ensure the safety of installing cable rollers, this paper designs a tool to install cable rollers based on the construction situation. The structure of this tool is designed by AutoCAD and analyzed the stress on ANSYS software. Based on the design, the tool is fabricated and used to solve some problems of pulling cables on construction situation.
