Abstract: The geological conditions in the southwest Tai basin of the South China Sea are complex and it is difficult to predict the hydrate dessert reservoir. In order to achieve the purpose of effectively depict the dessert reservoir, in southwest Tai basin area A test area, this paper mainly adopts a corresponding key technology, seismic attribute fusion technology, and expounds the multiple iterations and classification attribute fusion technology process. On this basis, we carry out amplitude, frequency, phase properties fusion for the experimental zone, and combine the earthquake as the bottom reflection characteristics of BSR, implement the effective dessert area A hydrate reservoir characterization. This method can be used as a hydrate dessert reservoir characterization of effective technical means. For the next step in the southwest Tai basin in the South China Sea it points out the direction of the hydrate exploration.
