Abstract

Floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO) is an important facility for offshore oilfield development. FPSO is equipped with inert gas generator to ensure the safety of crude oil transportation and production. We carry out optimization analysis for the configuration of inert gas equipment, including configuration mode optimization, type selection optimization, deck water seal and breaker sharing optimization, etc. This research could provide reference for the selection design of inert gas system on FPSO.
