A General Review of Dynamic Assessment and Second language Learning

Abstract: In dynamic assessment, important information about a learner’s abilities and changes can be learned during the assessment. Dynamic assessment is a procedure for simultaneously assessing and promoting development of learners’ cognitive procedure and ability, which is confirmed and applied in the research on second language teaching and learning. This study is a brief review and comment on the research of dynamic assessment and its application in second language learning based on a wide retrieval of literature.
