Abstract: Objective To construct three-dimensional finite element model of normal cranio-maxillofacial bones and to analyse biomechanical feature of the maxilla. Methods Based on the data of spiral CT scan from a normal male, three-dimensional finite element model of cranio -maxillofacial bones was constructed by digital image transfer and software of MedGraphics and ANSYS 8.0.
