Abstract

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the bioactivity and biocompatibility of the wollastonite coating(CaSiO3) and to provide the experimental basis for the clinical choice on the transformation methods of implant surfaces.Methods Six dogs were randomly divided into two groups.And 24 implants(12 sprayed with the hydroxyapatite coating,12 sprayed with the wollastonite coating) were randomly implanted into the mandibula of the dogs.The shearing bond stress of interface between implant and bone was measured with push-test.The...
