Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatment of Clavicle Fracture with Closed Reduction and Cannulated Compression Screw Fixation

Abstract: Objective To explore the outcome of the treatment of clavicle fracture with closed reduction and cannulated compression screw fixation.Methods Fourty two patients with clavicle fractures were treated with closed reduction and cannulated compression screw fixation from January 2006 to January 2010.Results All patients were followed up for 6-18 months.The union of fracture were all good in X-ray.There were no abnormalities,delayed healing and complications in all patients.The excellent rate was 97.6%.Conclusion This operation method is a kind of simple,effective and minimal invasive surgical procedure for the treatment of clavicle fracture.
