Abstract: Macrophages play a key role in wound healing process, and participate in the process of inflammation, proliferation and remodeling through a variety of mechanisms.Studies have shown that changes in the number, subtype and function of macrophages directly or indirectly affect the inflammatory state and the physiological activities, such as the process of reconstruction. In this paper, the related literatures on the regulation mechanism of macrophage during skin and soft tissue wound healing in recent years were reviewed,in order to guide the basic and clinical research of wound healing.
