Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of intense pulsed light combined with fractional Er:YAG laser in the treatment of post-traumatic scar in children. Methods From July 2017 to June 2019, 107 children with post-traumatic scar were included in the study, with an average age of(3.97 ±3.14) years, and were all treated with intense pulsed light combined with fractional Er:YAG laser. The modified VSS and VRS were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy and the complications were recorded. Results A total of 107 children were treated by 353 laser treatments. According to the modified VSS, the score of hyperemia, thickness, flexibility and total score decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05).The VRS score before scar treatment was 1.55±1.16, and after scar treatment was 0.86±0.93, which was significantly lower(P <0.05). There were 16 cases of adverse reactions after treatment. Conclusion Intense pulsed light combined with fractional Er:YAG laser in the treatment of post-traumatic scar in children has obvious curative effect and high safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
