Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical feasibility and therapeutic effect of mesenchymal stem cells modified by hepatocyte growth factor gene for treating femoral head osteonecrosis.Methods Autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) from one patient with osteonecrosis of the femoral head in a stage of ARCO ⅢB were separated and expanded in vivo.Cells were modified by an adenoviral vector carrying human hepatocyte growth factor gene,and total cells of 1.0×107 were surgically implanted into the necrotic s...
