Abstract: Objective To explore the ideal connection pattern of zygomatic implants supported prosthetics for functional restoration of maxillary defection by comparing the retentive efficiency of different connection pattern. Methods The patents'functional rehabilitations such as appearance, chewing function, pronunciation in 10 maxilla defection patients restored with two different connection types of zygomatic implants supported prosthetics were evaluated quantitatively, and the repair effects of the two connection patterns were compared. Results Comparing with magnetic attachment, galvanized golden frames and milling bar had higher score of dislocation during chewing movement.Other scores were not significantly different. Conclusion Galvanized golden frames and milling bar is the ideal connection pattern of zygomatic implants supported prosthetics for functional restoration of maxillary defection.
