Abstract: The filter is a very important equipment in the processing process of offshore production platform， which has a wide range of applications. The good condition of the filter also plays a decisive role in the safe and stable operation of its downstream equipment and process. Therefore， the filter cleaning is also a routine work of offshore production platform. At the same time， it also increases the safety risk in the process of operation. According to the cleaning requirements of a platform filter in Bohai Sea， the characteristics and requirements of the field process are analyzed， the filter form is selected， and the automatic backwashing transformation of the filter is carried out， and good results are obtained in practice.
