The T rend of Functional Linguistics in the Post Halliday Era

Abstract:

This article introduces the Chinese origin of Halliday's academic thought, Halliday's Chinese studies and academic evaluation. The article believes that in the post Halliday era, Chinese studies of systematic functional linguistics should be strengthened, and at the same time integrated into the national practice of Chinese foreign language education in the new era, so that functional linguistics research can serve the promotion of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the establishment of a “community with a shared future for mankind”.
