Article Processing Charges

Integrated Circuits and Systems (ICAS) is a fully Gold Open Access journal. This means that all published articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. To provide maximum dissemination and reuse, articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits any user to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s).

Article Processing Charge (APC)

To sustain this open access model, ICAS is supported by an Article Processing Charge (APC) that is payable by the authors or their institution/funder upon acceptance of a manuscript.

The standard APC for ICAS is $1,950.00 USD.

This charge covers the costs of the entire publication lifecycle, including:

· Peer review management and coordination

· Professional copyediting and typesetting

· High-resolution figure and layout production

· Permanent online hosting on the IEEE Xplore® digital library

· Long-term archiving and preservation (e.g., via Portico)

· Indexing in major academic databases (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science)

There are no additional charges for color figures, page length, or other submission elements. The APC is a flat fee per accepted article.

Inaugural APC Waiver

To support our authors and celebrate the launch of the journal, the full APC will be waived for all manuscripts submitted before January 1, 2027. Authors of accepted papers submitted within this period will not be required to pay any fees.
