Abstract: Objective To compare the clinical effects of arthroscopic single-bundle and double-bundle reconstruction in the repair of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL).Methods Thirty-one patients with ACL rupture were operated by double-bundle reconstruction while thirty patients with ACL rupture were operated by single-bundle reconstruction under arthroscope.Joint stability test,Tegner score and postoperative satisfaction were evaluated. Results Lachman test were positive in 1 case of double-bundle group and 7 cases of single-bundle group(P<0.05);Edge to edge differences were less than 3 mm in 27 cases of double-bundle group and 19 cases of single-bundle group(P<0.05);Tegner score of double-bundle group was better than single-bundle group. Conclusion Double-bundle reconstruction could fit the space structure of normal knee ACL and could better satisfy the biomechanical require of knee joint at unbend and reverse position.
