Abstract: Stem cell can promote tissue repair and regeneration, and has a promising potential application in clinic.Cryopreservation is a common way to achieve long-term preservation of stem cells. An effective cryoprotective agents(CPA)is vital to prevent cells from cryodamage and keep cell viability during cryopreservation process. In this paper, the recent advances in CPA for stem cells were reviewed.
