Advances in promoting the production of extracellular vesicles of mesenchymal stem cells

Abstract

Abstract: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) therapy is a promising clinical therapeutic. Multiple potential risks of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) therapy can be avoided by EVs therapy. However, large amounts of EVs are required for medicinal purposes. The low production of EVs is challenging to meet the demand, and the development of methods to promote the production of EVs is necessary. This review focused on new practices and advances in obtaining EVs in recent years to provide references for EVs therapy in regenerative medicine.
