Analysis for Characteristics of Future Air Defense Battlefield Environment and Development of Air Defense and Antimissile Equipment of US Army
Liu Bing, Zhang Fahong, Jia Haipeng, Xue Jie
    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 8-12.
    Abstract   PDF (2494KB) ( 511 )
Under the background that the strategic emphasis of US is shifted to the Asia Pacific Region, in order to contain China's peaceful rising and keep the existing military and technical advantages, the U.S. Army has formally put forward the concept of “Multi Domain Battle” and received the response of other services. All services have planned to take measures against ballistic missile salvo and other threats, which has urged the U. S. Army in recent years to strengthen the air defense and antimissile equipment development in order to make up for the deficiency when confronting an evenly matched opponent. The resulting ability enhancement of U.S. army will certainly bring new impact on future air defense battlefield. It is worthy of our attention, at the same time it would bring new thought and reference for equipment construction of our army air defense and antimissile during transformation of armed forces.

Study on a Parametric Design Method for Blunting 3D Leading Edge with Specified Radius
Liu Jun, Fu Xiang, Wang Xiaoyan
    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 18-24.
    Abstract   PDF (3020KB) ( 121 )
The severe aerothermal environment for hypersonic vehicles requires that the sharp leading edge have to be blunted in engineering application. For hypersonic vehicles with complex configurations like chined waveriders, the profiles of upper/lower surfaces may vary greatly in different longitudinal sections, which brings it with 3-dimensional effect that makes it difficult to blunt the leading edge. So far, there are relevant 3D blunting methods that connect leading edge with vehicles’ surfaces smoothly, but the blunting radius at each leading edge point still cannot be specified. A parametric method for blunting 3D leading edge with specified radius is presented in this paper, an application example in chined waveriders is given, and the CFD simulation is carried out. Results show that this method can not only guarantee smooth connection between blunt leading edge and upper/lower surfaces, but also the shape changes continuously along the horizontal direction. It can also specify the blunting radius according to the requirement of thermal protection, so that the multidisciplinary coupling design of thermal protection and aerodynamic shape is realized. The method with wide adaptability has important practical value in the design of hypersonic aerodynamic configurations.

Anti Mainlobe-Interference Technique Based on Double-Delta Channel of Digital Array
Shi Yunfei, Zhao Chanjuan, Xu Anqi, Yang Wenhua
    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 25-30.
    Abstract   PDF (1962KB) ( 143 )
When the target and the active jamming with different space angles exit simultaneously in the radar beam main lobe, the target echoes are overwhelmed by the interference with certain bandwidth in time domain and frequency domain, so the Monopulse radar cannot effectively detect the target, and the output of angle measurement system is the wavefront of the distortion after the superposition of the jamming signal and the echo signal. In view of target detection of radar under jamming conditions, this paper studies the signal extraction and processing algorithm of Monopulse radar double-delta channel, and proposes the angle measurement technology based on double-delta channel under the main lobe interferenceso as to improve the adaptability of radar in complex electromagnetic environment.

Researchon Operational Decision Support Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning
Zhou Lai, Jin Xiaowei, Zheng Yikai
    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 31-35.
    Abstract   PDF (2570KB) ( 854 )
Faced with the rapidly changing battlefield situation, how to make effective use of intelligent technology to achieve computer-aided decision has become a bottleneck restricting the development of command and control technology. Through the in-depth analysis of the combat decision-making process, it is transformed into an issue of multi-step sequential decision-making. Then the deep learning method is used to extract the characteristic vectors including the commander’s mood, behavior and the decision-making state in the tactics evolution process. The reinforcement learning method is used to search in the action space of decision state and evaluate the decision state until obtaining an optimal action sequence decision, to gain the advantage at the game of machine versus human in the future battlefield.

Design of Fractional Order MRAC Based on the Hyper Stability Theory
Xue Changsen, Qi Zhidong, Shan Liang, Tang Pengliang
    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 44-49.
    Abstract   PDF (3859KB) ( 121 )
Introducing the fractional order theory to control law is one of the effective ways to improve the performance of the traditional controller. A Model Reference Adaptive Controller (MRAC), widely used in engineering practice, is taken as the object of investigation in this paperand a new design method based on Popov hyper stability theory is proposed to determine the parameters of the controller in order to overcome the shortcoming of the present fractional order MRAC design method. Compared with the local optimal parameter based method (MIT) and Lyapunov second method, under the premise of ensuring the stability of the system, the new design method in this paper is better than the former two in the flexibility of the control law and the standardization of the design process. Fractional order MRAC is used in the speed control of two-phase ultrasonic motor, and the simulation results show that, compared with the integer order MRAC, the fractional order MRAC can improve the convergence speed of the system output, reduce the overshoot, and present better robustness by selecting the appropriate order of fractional order integration.

    Air & Space Defense. 2018, 1 (1): 63-68.
    Abstract   PDF (2739KB) ( 211 )
The damage effect on the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) shell made of ABS plastics by using continuous pulse laser is simulated by means of Lommel 3D diffraction integral and considering the defocus aberration and the beam broadening caused by atmospheric transmission. The damage threshold of the UAV shell is obtained through static damage test. The effectiveness of 100kW and 200kW laser weapon system is evaluated, and the corresponding kill zone is given.
