Abstract: Cultivating marine engineering talents is crucial to advancing the vision of building a strong maritime nation. Ship modelling plays an essential role in marine engineering education by bridging theoretical knowledge and practical application. This paper aims to popularize and promote the foundational concepts of marine engineering and the techniques of ship model construction. Using the 903A; composite supply ship as a case study, the paper provides a detailed walkthrough of the model making process, including 3D design and physical construction. The insights presented are valuable for enhancing the accessibility and understanding of marine engineering concepts, contributing to the discipline's broader dissemination and educational impact.
