Challenges to Foreign Language Teachers and Their Vision-Based Solutions

摘要:

本文分析了我国外语教师发展中面临的课时多、科研园地少和学术底子薄等困局及其形成原因,提出应努力抓住新时代大外语的发展机遇,并从国家视域、国际视野和比较视角三方面,阐述如何在新时代中国外语学科建设中突破困局,开创新局。

Abstract:

Foreign language teachers in China are faced with a series of challenges including their heavy workload, limited publication options, and relatively inadequate academic underpinning, each ascribable to different reasons. The solutions lie in the use made of the development of foreign language education in its broad sense, and in the adoption of a national initiative perspective, a global vision, and a comparative approach in the development of the foreign language discipline in the new era.
