Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of propranolol in combination with pingyangmycin for the treatment of infantile hemangioma. Methods Sixty patients with infantile hemangioma were injected with pingyangmycin (injection dose: 0.3-0.5 mg/cm2), and treated with propranolol for oral administration (1.0~2.0 mg/Kg·d) at the meantime. All the patients were followed and the clinical efficacy were observed. Results With the time extention, the hemangioma reduced, the color became shallow, the tumor and the bloodshot on its surface gradually faded. The effective rate was 93.7%. Conclusion Propranolol combined with pingyangmycin may act synergistically to improve the curative effect in treating infantile hemangioma.
