外语教育学视阈下“双非”地方高校德语毕业生就业质量调查

Investigation on the Employment Quality of German Language Graduates in “Double Non” Local Universities from the Perspective of Foreign Language Education Studies

摘要:

目前,我国很多高校的德语专业面临“停招”“撤销”等前所未有的危机与挑战,生源、师资等方面并不具备优势的“双非”地方高校的生存危机更为严峻。外语教育学作为外国语言文学二级学科的正式确立为高等外语教育带来了切实反思人才培养质量、找寻专业内涵式发展路径的全新机遇。外语教育的质量体现为外语人才培养的质量,通过研制应届毕业生就业质量调查问卷对全国31所“双非”地方高校的德语毕业生开展就业质量调查。调查结果显示,入选“双万计划”一流本科专业建设点“双非”地方高校德语本科毕业生的就业质量较好,而众多未入选高校德语本科专业毕业生就业质量堪忧,具体体现在两个方面:一方面,接近一半毕业生不能通过德语专四考试;另一方面,毕业生就业存在就业率不高、就业去向较差、专业匹配度低等问题。鉴于此,“双非”地方高校应该在外语教育学的理论指引下将德语专业定位为应用型方向,并与德国高校合作开展应用型德语人才培养。

Abstract:

In the past two decades, the German language major in China has experienced an awkward situation from being “eagerly sought after” to being “sneered at”. Now it is facing unprecedented crises and challenges such as “suspension of enrollment” and “revocation”. The survival crisis of “Double Non” local universities, which do not have advantages in terms of student sources and faculty, is even more severe. The formal establishment of foreign language education studies as a secondary discipline of foreign language and literature has brought a new opportunity for higher foreign language education to reflect on the quality of talent cultivation and find a professional connotation based development path. The quality of foreign language education is reflected in the quality of foreign language talent cultivation, by developing a survey questionnaire on the employment quality of fresh graduates, a survey was conducted on the employment quality of German undergraduate students from 31 “Double Non” local universities across the country. The survey results show that the employment quality is relatively good for the students from “Double Non” local universities that was selected for the “Double Ten Thousand Plan” first-class undergraduate major construction site; while the employment quality of the graduates from universities which were not selected for the “Double Ten Thousand Plan” is worrying. This is reflected in two aspects: on the one hand, nearly half of the graduates cannot pass the PGG exam. On the other hand, graduates face problems such as low employment rates, poor employment prospects, and low professional matching degree. In view of this, “Double Non” local universities should position German majors as application-oriented under the theoretical guidance of foreign language education studies, and cooperate with German universities to carry out application-oriented German talent cultivation.
